Ages: 7-9

What would happen if you were suddenly separated from your group without all of your gear? What steps would you take to ensure you stay safe if you realized you were lost? Come learn and practice the skills to survive using what’s around you, and comfortably provide for all of your needs. While learning techniques to be sure you are found, you will also practice making wilderness shelters and fires, as well as learning how to use the sun and stars to stay oriented. Learning how to navigate using awareness will help you avoid getting lost. If you do find yourself lost and alone, you will have the skills to keep a positive mental attitude, stay alive, and make it home. These skills can save your life but are also exciting and fun to learn and practice — you might even forget you’re lost!
