The Art of Bow Making: Sep 19-24, 2017

Join us in creating your very own self bow from a hickory tree stave. In five days, you will craft your stave into a shooting bow with your own two hands. In this class you will learn wood selection, harvesting, wood drying, bow dimension and design, shaping, tillering, making your bowstring, shooting and caring for your bow.
This is an overnight class, limited to 6 students in order to provide individual instruction. All tools and materials provided.

Timing: Arrive Tuesday, September 19th at 4pm. Class ends at 4pm on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Tuition: $500 (sign-up before Sept. 1 and get $50 off)

Camping provided. Please bring your own tent and camping gear and appropriate clothing for the season in Southern Oregon (suggested gear list can be sent by request upon registration).
Meals provided from Wednesday breakfast through Sunday lunch (please include any dietary needs in the “comments” section of the online registration). We will have a potluck dinner the night of registration. Please bring your own snacks.
Yale Creek Farm is 40 acres in the Little Applegate in Oregon. We have modern bathroom facilities as well as compost toilets.
