As the seasons progress into autumn, it heralds the time for hard work in preparing for the coming hibernation... Join us this week as we further our knowledge and awareness of earth-living and survival skills during an advanced skills class on the Bear Trail.
Picking up where Bear Trail left off, we will cover advanced uses for fire: cooking, fire lays, and primitive emergency tinder bundles. Additionally, we will dive into advanced long-term camp living including: shelters designed for internal fires, travois, camp benches/stools, bulk cordage preparation, packframe construction, trapping techniques, survival bow saws, useful bush knots, rendered fats, advanced trailing and much more. Come prepared for full days and long nights.
