We're excited to announce a Tracking and Awareness Club for the Elders in our community! This is inspired by the deep interest in animal tracking and nature awareness expressed at a recent event. Of course, all ages are welcome (children must attend with a guardian), but this will be geared toward the older generations who are interested in expanding their Nature Awareness.
We will be starting at the Coyote Trails Nature Center in Medford (April 16th), and diving in deep to explore the local wildlife through animal tracking. We'll work on how to identify animal tracks and the basics of how to follow a trail. Get ready to learn about our neighbors--who lives in your backyard? How do you tell if you found a coyote or a domestic dog? What is the difference between a wolf and a mountain lion? All this and more!
Start Dates: Saturday, April 16th, & Sunday, May 22
Cost: $15 recommended donation.
Location: We will be visiting different locations around the Rogue Valley.
Other: There will be some light hiking. For all skill levels.
