Strap on snowshoes and explore winter's wilder side! Snow provides the perfect opportunities for an introduction to winter tracking. Clear print species and gender identification, travel speed, animal gaits, and other tracking concepts will be covered. Suitable for all experience levels. Animal and plant adaptations for winter survival and winter ecological processes will also be discussed. The class includes an extended field trip, some of it off trail, all of it on snowshoes!
