Experience the finishing of a wooden javelin/spear and see the different steps of tapering and balancing your tool, as well as proper form for throwing. Learn the history of these tools as weapons around the world.  Experience the process of fire hardening, tip sheathing, weighting, and the various lengths for different uses. Students take home a hand out with helpful resources to guide you in practicing form , as well as your finished spear that you’ve tapered, pointed, handled, and balanced!

No experience required! Please pre-register as spaces are limited.

Cancellation Policy:  There is a $10 fee for each registration cancelled or changed.  Notification of cancellation needs to be received four (4) days prior to the first day of your class in order to receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee for each student.  No refunds are issued if cancellation occurs within less than four (4) days of your class
