Making butter and yogurt is a fun, easy, and kid friendly activity. For most homesteaders, turning the family cow’s milk into butter, yogurt, cheese, and whey, was just part of the daily routine- and it can be for you starting with this hand- on, lively class. We will learn the simple process of creating butter and yogurt from fresh, local cow’s milk, and talk about how to find local milk in the Rogue Valley.  Kids are strongly encouraged to come to this class, as we will need many active, energetic hands to “shake the butter jar!”

No experience required! Please pre-register as spaces are limited.
