Ever wonder how homesteaders made delicious bread without the use of store-bought yeast? In this hands-on class you will learn the secrets of sourdough bread making including: starting and maintaining your own sourdough starter; proper baking technique; and fitting bread baking into your home schedule. We will learn mixing, kneading, proofing, and baking techniques before feasting on warm, delicious sourdough. After this class you may never want to buy store bought bread again!
