Part II of II: Preserving food for the winter is an age old tradition, and a fun and useful skill that has been passed on for generations in every homesteaders’ kitchen. The bounty of the summer and fall garden can be made into delicious jams, pickles, and sauces to be stored away for years to come. Canning is fun, easy, and a huge money saver!  Everything you need to know to can at home will come alive in this hands-on class, and you will leave with a jar of goodies, recipes, and canning instructions.
